Texas REIAs is the Premier Real Estate Investor Association (REIA)in Texas, and has multiple locations throughout the state, including Austin, Houston, Dallas/Ft Worth and San Antonio.

Texas REIAs is a network of over 140,000 Texas Real Estate Investors with thousands of new members joining each month. We’ve been meeting since 2002, and we’ve been growing our membership continually ever since. Between 100-300 investors typically show up for each meeting in each city every month (and we have 7 major events per month!). Our focus is LOCAL, Texas real estate investing.
Texas REIAS respects your time and need for a local focus, and, as a result, we don’t bring in any ‘out of state’ gurus or pitchmen to sell you their products. We jokingly say that “When you go see an out-of-state guru, you’ll see them once and then you’ll never see them again. When you go to Texas REIAs, you’ll see us again… whether you want to or not!” You see Texas REIAs is our baby and we are dedicated to this community. It breaks our hearts when we see people who sign up with out of state gurus who don’t get traction because they don’t have the “local, ethical, educated, boots on the ground support” to get the answers they need. The irony is that most gurus all say the same thing when asked a specific question: “If you want an answer to that question (or you need that service provider), you should join the local REIA”. You see, the out of state gurus are great at selling but in many cases they are terrible at fulfilling.
It’s not because their ideas are bad (well, some of them are) but it’s because they don’t invest in your market and they don’t know the particulars and at the end of the day, the details count. Personally we’ve filled out every contract and form in Texas real estate and know the right Realtors, Brokers, Lenders, Title companies, Lawyers, Contractors and more to help you turn a suspect into a prospect, into a closed deal and make sure you do things right leading all the way up to your exit strategy!
Texas REIAs focuses on promoting our own members and sharing the extensive expertise and knowledge found within our group. Many of our current members have been part of the association and extended association for many years and continue to offer advice and support to new investors. Our community is the catalyst for your success. The old saying “It takes a tribe to raise a child” can be applied here too by saying “It take a tribe to raise a (profitable) investor”. We take pride in our tribe, we love investing and we love bringing new investors along for the ride.

The truth is we all started some where. For us personally, we cut our teeth in residential investing and invested many of our winnings into commercial deals. We have active fix and flips going as well as long term rentals, as well as loans to other investors, as well as passive investments in multi-family apartment syndications and syndicating our own deals. We like to think of ourselves as “Strategically Agnostic and Asset Class Opportunists” – if there’s an opportunity to help someone and make money at the same time, we want to do it! Most investors are one trick ponies and they don’t zig when the market zags; instead they beat their heads against the wall praying for a market change. (The market change will surely come, but will you be financially alive when it does?) To be successful in this business you must adapt, mutate, migrate or die. That’s how we have survived and thrived and when you come to one of our local meetings, we’ll share more about our personal journey too. While we don’t have a ‘rags to riches’ story, we do have a ‘work hard, surround yourself with good people, take consistent action and THEN become successful’ story. We don’t have a magic pill, but we do have a magic formula – we’ll share our approach at our upcoming live meeting!
